Audrina Patridge to Inherit Travel Show from Former 'Bachelorette' Star

Audrina Patridge has pretty much stayed out of the spotlight since her days on The Hills, except for her unsucessful VH1 show Audrina. Now, Miss Audrina has decided to try something new by taking over the NBC travel show 1st Look.

Starting January 4th of next year, Audrina will be taking over former Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky's position on the show and traveling across the country, in search of the best in nightlife, restaurants, activities and much, much more.

Audrina has the following to say to The Hollywood Reporter about her new hosting gig:

"It's one of my dream jobs because I love doing different adventures, and I have a passion for trying just about anything, which fits what this show is about"

This sounds like a very exciting oppertunity for Ms. Patridge, and I wish her the best of luck.

Catelynn Lowell Wins Teenz Fav Award for Most Inspiring Teen

Catelynn Lowell has done many inspirational things over the past several years. Between bravely making an adoption plan for her daughter, Carly, on 16 and Pregnant to sharing the aftermath struggles as well as her and Tyler's rough childhood on the original Teen Mom to showing the public the imperfection in her and Tyler's relationship on Couple's Therapy, many young people have looked up to her strength and been inspired by her story to change their own lives.

At this event, the Canadian version of the Teen Choice Awards hosted by the (always sexy) Brody Jenner, Catelynn finally got the recognition she deserves. Looking AMAZING in a red-hot dress, Rihanna-like nails and Lady Gaga-esque heels, Catelynn goes to accept her award (a skateboard!!!)

Lauren Conrad Guest Editing for Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine. Could an Engagement be Next?

Lauren is basically the new Martha Stewart in terms of world domination. Since leaving The Hills four years ago, Lauren has created two successfull clothing lines a jewelry line, and countless bestselling books. Now Lauren is a guest editor for a Martha Stewart magazine, but what does the wedding part have to do her personal life?


Hmm...

According to Us Weekly (a sometimes reliable source), Lauren and her boyfriend recently took the next step in their relationship by moving in together. Does this and the fact that she's working for a wedding magazine mean marriage in the near future for Ms. Conrad? I guess, only time will tell.

Brianna Dejesus: Briana has had enough of Devoin's actions as a father and has decided to kick him to the curb. Briana invites him over to tell him and things get heated when her mother steps in. The talk turns into a complets screamfest and Roxanne kicks him out of the house. Then Brianna and her family decide to reinstall the protective order and have cops with them to drop off the papers with Devoin. Though Roxanne was out of line in the fight, it was nice to see her stay by her daughter's side.

 

 

Mackenzie Douthit: Josh decides to get back into rodeo and has his first competition soon. Mackenzie and her family arrive late to the festivities only to find out that Josh has been disqualified. I know Josh and Mackenzie love bullriding and cheerleading, but they both need to get side jobs so their parents don't have to fully support Gannon.

 

 

Katie Yeager: Things only get worse for Katie and Joey when she finds out about overdrafts to their bank account. Katie suspects that Joey is using marijana and the two begin fighting over the issue. They go back to counseling where Katie opens up about her father's drug abuse and how she doesn't want Molli to go through the same thing if Joey gets arrested. Joey reluctantly agrees to quit, but we'll see if he really does.

 

 

Alex Sekella: Alex's basement is left a mess from Matt's departure, so she invites him over to clean it up and grab the rest of his things. However, Matt doesn't clean up all of the mass, leaving Alex angered once again. Then, Matt checks into a homeless program where he tests positive for marijana. They explain to him that if he uses any drugs, he will be kicked out of the program. Well have to see how long he lasts at this shelter...

Teen Mom 2 Star Kailyn Weds Javi Marroquin a Second Time in a Sea- Themed Wedding

Kailyn and Javi had their official wedding ceremony on Saturday, September 21st at a local aquariam in New Jersey. (Yes an aquarium, so cool!!) Though the couple legally married on September 5, 2012 they didn't have time for an official wedding ceremony due to Javi being in the air force. Here are some photo from the fabulous event:

Teen Mom 3 Recap: Season 1 Episode 5 "Moving Forward"

Briana DeJesus: Briana has always had her mom and sister Brittany by her side, but now that's about to change because Brittany is going on a trip with her friends. Brittany invites Briana along and she wants to go, but can't because their's no one to watch Nova. After Brittany leaves, Briana reflects on how their different choices have led them to live different lives. When Briana tells her mom she feels like a burden to the family, her mother Roxanne says she will never be a burden. I seriously think Roxanne is the best, most supportive grandmother on the show.



Mackenzie Douthit: After attending a rodeo with Mackenzie, Josh is really starting to miss rodeo. Though Mackenzie is still worried about his safety, she decides to support Josh going back into riding since he has been so supportive of her tumbling. Her mom isn't happy and although I think they should look for real jobs so their parents don't have to support their kid, I'm glad that they're learning to be supportive of one another.



Katie Yeager: I can't say the same for Katie and Joey. In this episode, Katie decides to participate in a local fashion show with her friend, Veronica. It is a bridal show where they will be modeling wedding gowns and lingerie. When Joey hears about the lingerie part, he becomes jealous because she never wears lingerie for him. At the fashion show, Joey likes the wedding gown, but when Katie comes out in the lingerie, he leaves to go smoke a cigarette. Considering the lingerie was hardly revealing and looked more like a Halloween costume, I think Joey needs to get over himself and support his fiance. Katie is a young mother is trying gain back her prebaby confidence and Joey's attitude is only bringing her down.



Alex Sekella: After Matt leaves, Alex has a talk with her mom, who advises her to seek help. She decides to go back to her counselor to work through her anger issues. After the session, she meets up with Matt so he can see Arabella. After seeing him high and zoned out, she decides not to let him around Arabella anymore.

Brianna DeJesus: Nova is getting older, so Brianna and her mom hire a babyproofing company to come to their home to put in safety items. They did a great job, but the price was a rip-off. Devoin comes over for a visit and wants to take Nova with him, but Brianna (understandably) declines because he can't even survive an hour with her alone.



Mackenzie Douthit: Mackenzie's prom is her and she is excited to buy a dress. However, prom dresses are expensive as a parent, so she decides to borrow one from a friend. Meanwhile, Josh talks about how they are not going to have sex on prom night. Mackenzie and Josh have a fabulous time and even go to after-prom.



Katie Yeager: Katie and Joey make up after their big fight and agree to go to counseling. In the session, they talk about better ways to communicate so they're not fighting in front of Molli. After the session, they pack up their things and move into their new apartment.


Alex Sekella: Things get heated between Alex and Matt when she finds out she's been talking to another girl online. After returning home from work, they into a huge blowout where Matt tries to provoke Alex into hitting him in front of Arabella. Matt then yells at Alex's mom, Wendy, who (finally!!) decides it's time to kick him out of their house. Alex then has a meltdown, saying she can't live without Matt.
